Middle Percy Island has a rich and varied maritime history, with a long established tradition of hospitality. It is where seafarers may come ashore, explore, and share sundowners or BBQ with fellow travelers amongst memorabilia of their boat names and crew. There are also times to chill out to read a book or have room on stable ground stretch to exercises in the shade of the A-Frame Meeting place.

In 2011, Government Authorities requirement of the Public Liability covered by Insurance, resulting in a group of Yachties suggesting we created the informal PIYC in November 2011 to pay for the annual costs of Public Liability Insurance.

The Lifetime Membership is now $190 ($70 costs for the PIYC kit) so that 48 members are needed annually for the Public Liability to be covered to enable visitors keep coming to this unique Island.

You will get a PIYC Kit of a plaque and Burgee for your boat with a Dog Tag from a graphotype machine (USA Machine from Korean War era). Also, you will enjoy the satisfaction of contributing towards protecting the Islands’ uniqueness for future generations. We will require a few details to imprint the tag with your details and register your membership:
